Hamilton House was renovated to specifically provide B & B services and is preserving its country
charm. Featuring rustic pine plank and tile floors throughout, we offer a choice of 5 rooms, all with private en suites. Our private
guest lounge has an entertainment center with digital satellite TV, VCR, DVD player, and a video/book library. Our living
room sports a wood stove with cosy nooks for reading, quiet relaxation or conversation. We offer our Sunroom, which is a larger conference/party room for business meetings, private parties, weddings, etc. This room also boasts a 60" high definition TV, DVD, internet, and can seat up to 40 with rectagular or round tables. In addition we have a family games room with a fireplace, a 4 season outdoor 5-6 person hot-tub, a large deck with outdoor dining available in season, family size fire pit and BBQs are all available for your enjoyment. Our business center is complete with internet/email, fax and a photocopier. |
Located on 5 acres, we have open lawns and cultured flower gardens amid the surrounding boreal woodlands. Trails from the house are available for hiking, biking, walking, and x-country skiing. There are hundreds of surrounding acres and pathways for wildlife watching, a small lake for canoeing/skating, or just quiet relaxation. We also have spectacular views of the night sky and Canada's northern lights, (Aurora borealis) unhampered by urban light pollution. |
