We have approximately 12 kilometers of machine groomed cross country ski trails waiting for your tracks. If you feel adventuresome we have maps of our trails. We also offer some rental equipment: various sets of boots, skies, and poles.
Our cross-country trails start from the house (virtually from your room) and you travel over open fields, around a lake, through valleys, and hills amidst the boreal forest of the Lakeland.
There are short loops 1-3 kilometers that return you to the house at many junctions or you can choose the longer runs. Each trail will bring a different view
We are very fortunate to have the Kinosoo Snow Resort 10 kilometers directly north of Hamilton House. They are set-up to offer an exciting day
of downhill skiing enjoyment having a triple chair, T-Bar, and handle tow, leading to 11 runs, with a phenomenal snow boarding park. Their
facility has a 4000 sq ft. lodge with equipment rentals, licensed dining room and cafeteria room.
